Wythenshawe Hall
Extensive slating & refurbishment works following major arson attack
Project Overview
Extensive slating works to this early 16th Century manor house following a serious fire caused by arson.
Our brief on this project was to reinstate the original roof coverings and structural timbers, with the ultimate aim of salvaging as much of the original building fabric as possible.
Both new and reclaimed slates were installed to match the existing appearance. Cast iron guttering and downpipes were also fitted.
This project was short-listed for the 2020 NFRC Awards in the Heritage Category.
