Built-up Felt Roofing

Built-up felt roofing is a tried and tested method of flat roof waterproofing. A typical warm-roof system would consist of a vapour control layer, thermal insulation and two or three layers of bituminous waterproofing membranes. Recent years have seen significant technological developments in this area, with modern membranes offering the very best in fire protection and environmental performance.

Built-up felt roofing systems are typically installed in refurbishment situations and are well suited to a variety of buildings, including schools, hospitals, social housing (flats) and leisure centres.

Fulwood are expert installers of the complete built-up system and are approved installers for all of the major materials suppliers, including IKO PLC, Icopal and Bauder. In conjunction with these manufacturers, we are able to offer our clients comprehensive insurance-backed guarantees for up to 30 years.
